Habit tracking, quietly

Like every other day, quietly passing, until you stop to truly live it.

Hibi keeps one small practice in view each day. Mark it, or don't. Nothing shouts at you, nothing is lost.

Hibi daily habit list

Three steps, then it stays out of the way

01
Name the practice

Read 50 pages, five glasses of water, thirty minutes of Japanese. Set a goal and a rhythm in a few taps.

02
Mark the day

One tap for done, a slider for partial progress, a built-in timer when the habit needs sitting with.

03
Watch the shape appear

Streaks, calendars, momentum and week shape — enough signal to adjust, never enough noise to nag.

Why gentle

A missed day is a day, not a verdict

Most habit apps trade in guilt: break the chain and the app makes sure you feel it. Hibi records the miss and moves on. The calendar shows red days beside green ones because both are true, and neither decides tomorrow.

means "day after day". That is the whole method.

From people using it

A few notes we've kept from readers who wrote in after a few weeks with Hibi.

"The first tracker that didn't make me feel bad the day I opened it and realised I'd forgotten. It just showed a gap. I moved on. That's the whole point."
Emma L. · App Store · UK
"I stopped using habit apps after the third one started sending me guilt notifications. Hibi doesn't push. I check in when I check in. Six weeks now — longer than any of the others lasted."
Julien R. · App Store · France
"The week shape chart is what got me. I could actually see that I always slip on Thursdays. Nothing else told me that so plainly. Adjusted the schedule and the slips stopped."
Nara S. · App Store · Japan

Questions

Does it work offline?

Yes. Your habits live on the device. No account, no sync required, no server that knows what you're tracking.

What happens when I break a streak?

The day is marked as missed and the streak resets. No penalties, no lost history, no push notification about it. The next day is still yours to take.

Can I track partial progress?

Set a goal like 50 pages or 5 glasses and log it with a slider, or run the built-in timer for time-based habits. Partial days count toward Effort Rate, kept days toward Kept Rate — both readings are shown separately so you can tell them apart.

Which languages does it support?

English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. The interface follows your system language automatically.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Hibi is completely free — every habit, every chart, every feature. No subscriptions, no ads, no in-app purchases, no locked tier. Just the app.

Is my data private?

Everything is stored locally on your phone. Nothing about what you tracked, when, or what you called it ever leaves the device — except the optional Weekly Recap, which sends habit names only and only when you tap yes.
